The Matteucci family

The agritourism business at Tenuta La Serra was founded in 2000 at the initiative of Umberto Matteucci, a respected building contractor from Pisa, who restored the farm's old farmhouses with the utmost respect for the landscape and Tuscan architectural tradition.

Alongside the cultivation of cereals, the farm also produces wine, olive oil and honey, a new activity that involves the whole Matteucci family, set among the park, woodland and outdoor spaces designed for relaxation and direct contact with nature.

Over time, the estate has earned the "Ospitalità Italiana" quality mark. Umberto is joined by his wife Paola, his children Stefano and Stefania, and his son-in-law Paolo Bozzi, who carried out the restoration of Villa La Carraia.
